Moving in Brussels
Brussels is our home ground, and also the one that forgives the least. A one-way street, a parking space taken that very morning, a townhouse staircase that turns twice: those details decide whether the day ends at four o'clock or spills into tomorrow.
The 19 municipalities all sit inside the BHV area. A move from one Brussels flat to another therefore starts from the lowest package on our list.
What a move in the Brussels-Capital Region costs

- Additional team hour 90 € excluding VAT beyond the first three hours, per hour started

Staircases decide the rest
The Brussels townhouse has handsome stairwells, rarely wide ones. A two-door wardrobe will not turn a tight corner, and a corner sofa even less. That is what calls for the furniture lift, far more often than height does.
The lift, planned rather than discovered
We include it as a matter of course from the second floor, passenger lift or not: a passenger lift takes neither a wardrobe nor a corner sofa. 100 € excluding VAT for the first hour, then 50 € per half hour.
The parking permit, in your place
Every municipality has its own procedure, form and lead time, often ten to fifteen working days. We file the request and pass the permit on at cost, with no handling fee.
A day of carrying, not of driving
Inside Brussels the drive counts for little: carrying and access fill the day. That is also why the price is calculated in team hours and not per kilometre.
What we check before coming
- The width of the street and the direction of traffic, to know whether the van stops at the door or thirty metres away. Thirty metres of carrying on a full removal adds up to hours.
- The façade and the windows, when a furniture lift is on the cards: it needs firm ground to stand on and a clear window.
- The building's own rules: some managing agents impose hours, forbid the passenger lift for removals, or require the hall to be booked. Better learned at the survey than at eight in the morning.

How much does a move in Brussels cost?
The minimum is 420 € excluding VAT, that is 508.20 € including VAT: the van and two movers for three hours, departure and arrival inside the 19 municipalities. Beyond that, each team hour is 90 € excluding VAT. The calculator prices your own case in two minutes.
Do you handle the parking permit?
Yes, in all 19 municipalities. We file the request, you have no form to fill in, and the permit is passed on at cost: we add no handling fee. Tell us early, it is the one item that cannot be sorted out the day before.
Is a furniture lift needed for a Brussels second floor?
We include it as a matter of course from the second floor, even where the building has a passenger lift. A passenger lift takes boxes, not an assembled wardrobe or a corner sofa. Discovering that on the day costs the whole crew half a day.
Do you move from Brussels to the provinces?
Yes. As soon as either address leaves the BHV area, the minimum package rises from 420 € to 520 € excluding VAT. The hourly rate, the three-hour minimum and the options do not change.
