Moving in Walloon Brabant
Walloon Brabant moves differently from Brussels. What you gain in access you lose in volume: a driveway at the door, a garage, rarely a parking permit to request, but a detached house holds a great deal more than a flat, cellar and attic included.
The province lies outside the BHV area: the minimum package is the provincial one, and it applies as soon as either address is there.
What a move in Walloon Brabant costs

More volume than a flat
A house with a cellar, an attic and a garage rarely fits the same van as a Brussels three-room flat. That is the first thing the survey measures, and where an online estimate goes wrong most often.
The driveway is checked beforehand
Gate, gravel, tight turn, low branches: a driveway is judged on site. Knowing where the van can stand avoids endless carrying, the item that inflates an invoice fastest.
Rarely a parking permit
That is the real difference with Brussels: here you usually park at the door or in the driveway. Where a municipal request is needed, we file it and pass it on at cost, with no handling fee.
Louvain-la-Neuve and its own rules
The centre of Louvain-la-Neuve is pedestrianised: van access is arranged in advance there, not improvised on the morning. Give us the exact address when you ask for a quote.
What weighs on the duration
- The real volume, first. Between a house emptied months ago and one still lived in the day before, the gap is counted in team hours, not in minutes.
- The number of items to dismantle and reassemble. A bedroom wardrobe occupies a mover twice, once on departure and once on arrival. Each operation is counted separately in the calculator.
- The floor, as everywhere: from the second we include the furniture lift as a matter of course, in a house as well.

Why is the minimum higher than in Brussels?
Because Walloon Brabant lies outside the BHV area, which covers Brussels, Halle and Vilvoorde. The minimum package rises from 420 € to 520 € excluding VAT. It is a single step, not a mileage surcharge: it does not move again, whether you live in Waterloo or in Jodoigne.
What if I move from Walloon Brabant to Brussels?
The provincial package applies as soon as one address leaves the BHV area, so yes, it is 520 € as a minimum. Everything else on the list is identical.
Will you come for a single item?
Yes, but the three-hour minimum still applies: a crew that travels commits its day in two halves. For one or two items, say so in the calculator and we will see whether it can be grouped with another job nearby.
Do you supply boxes?
Yes, at 10 € each, delivered before the move. You only pay for the ones you use, provided you tell us before loading.
